Dato Seri Ivan Teh, a well-known champion of digital transformation and innovation, attended the prestigious PIKOM Digital Excellence Awards (PDEA) 2024, a hallmark event celebrating excellence in Malaysia’s digital and technology sectors.

Organized by PIKOM, the National Tech Association of Malaysia, the PDEA 2024 brought together the nation’s top tech leaders, innovators, and policymakers for an evening of recognition and collaboration. The event was graced by Yang Berhormat Gobind Singh Deo, Minister of Digital Malaysia, whose presence underscored the government’s strong commitment to the digital economy.

The 2024 edition of the awards recognized 34 outstanding individuals and organizations who have made significant contributions in key areas such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, digital infrastructure, and more. The ceremony highlighted Malaysia’s growing digital capabilities and its ambition to be a regional leader in tech innovation.

Dato Seri Ivan joined fellow thought leaders in celebrating the achievements of trailblazers who are shaping the nation’s digital future. As someone deeply invested in the advancement of digital ecosystems, he acknowledged the importance of such platforms in inspiring progress, sparking ideas, and forging new partnerships.

“It’s inspiring to witness such excellence across the digital landscape. Celebrating these achievements not only acknowledges the hard work of pioneers but also sets the stage for greater innovation and partnerships ahead,” said Dato Seri Ivan Teh.

PIKOM Chairman, Mr. Ong Chin Seong, praised the exceptional quality of this year’s nominees, stating, “The Digital Excellence Awards are a testament to the creativity, commitment, and excellence that define Malaysia’s digital landscape.”

Meanwhile, Mr. Alex Liew, PIKOM Deputy Chairman and PDEA Organising Chair, added, “The nominations received for PDEA 2024 exceeded our expectations. It proves that our digital technology ecosystem is vibrant, competitive, and thriving.”
